Welcome to the Kalgan Volunteer Bushfire Brigade Website.

Kalgan is a rural district within the City of Albany in the Great Southern region of Western Australia. We provide fire response, prevention and community education to the Kalgan area. While our primary focus is in the protection of our own community in Kalgan, we are often called to assist other brigades and agencies in times of need.

The Brigade is entirely operated by volunteers, managed by the City of Albany and supported by the Department of Fire and Emergency Services of Western Australia (DFES), which provides technical and operational support as well as the training network.

Hi Kalgan followers,

If you haven’t got around to paying your annual $30 donation to the Brigade we can accept you donation by direct deposit to:

BSB 306 001, ACC 4172900.

The funds are used to pay for vital equipment and also to fund the general running of the Brigade.  If anyone wishes to make a general donation over and above the $30 that would be gratefully received.
