Welcome to the Kalgan Volunteer Bushfire Brigade Website.
Kalgan is a rural district within the City of Albany in Southern Western Australia. We provide fire response, prevention and community education to the Kalgan area. While our primary focus is in the protection of our own community in Kalgan, we are often called to assist other brigades and agencies in times of need.
The Brigade is entirely operated by volunteers, managed by the City of Albany and supported by the Fire and Emergency Services Authority of Western Australia (FESA), which provides technical and operational support as well as the training network.
